ROBERT G. ROSE

Robert G. Rose Ph.D. is a leading expert in senior executive testing, assessment and coaching.

Since 1976 he has serviced as consultant to organizations in virtually every industry including health care, retail, IT services, manufacturing, construction, aviation, and many others. In his almost 30 years as a consultant, Rose has encountered virtually every problem that an organization can experience, and has seen that good teamwork - from hiring to development - always benefits both the individual and the company.

A Principal of the Rose Porterfield Group, Rose is hired by Boards and CEOs who use his services for vetting senior executives under consideration for employment, in addition to providing executive coaching for all aspects of executive development. He has a proven process for assessing needs of the individual and the organization. Rose is known for his skill in determining the suitability of the executive for a given leadership role.
Rose has a business partner, Dr. Robyn Porterfield, Principal of the Rose Porterfield Group. Prior to completing her Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology, Porterfield spent over ten years in sales and marketing.  She also served as Director of Client Services for a Texas-based on-line psychological testing firm, where she consulted to management on such issues as individual and team fit, conflict resolution, hiring, coaching and management succession planning. As a consultant, Porterfield has assessed executives in such diverse industries as financial management, food service, telecommunications and retail. She is also a professional mediator and currently mediates for Dispute Resolution Services of Tarrant County, Texas.
Dr. Rose is the author of numerous articles on communication, crisis handling, and conceptualizing purpose and culture within organizations, and his books are required reading by major corporations. Dr. Rose and Dr. Porterfield co-write a column for the Dallas Business Journal titled, "C-Level Coach".

Rose received his PhD from Florida State University.
